I replaced the broken slides in my dresser with these, and they have proven to be sturdy and close softly. The drawers may require a bit more effort to open, but it’s a feature I appreciate, especially in my nursery.

These slides require a little more effort to open compared to the old roller slides, but they have loosened up with use. I’m considering installing them at a slight angle to make opening easier.

Keep in mind that these slides are not full extension. My 14″ slide leaves about 2.5″ inside the drawer. It would be perfect if they were full extension, but they’re still the best option available.

I purchased several brands of side-mounted drawer slides, but these ones outperformed the rest. The smoothness and ease of opening are top-notch, and the mounting was a bit finicky but manageable.

The inner material holding the ball bearings on one of the slides bent, causing rough movement and gouging. However, replacing it with the same model solved the issue, and it has been working fine since then.
