I used these brackets to mount a shelf in my garage, came with the hardware needed to mount them to brick and everything worked out well. The brackets are very sturdy and the design makes them easier to install then others that make it hard to access the installation hardware.

Seem very sturdy, comes with a mounting kit. Some of the paint is chipped upon arrival. Still haven¡®t mounted, but all the welds appear strong enough to hold the cedar beam we have for the mantle.

Got a custom mesquite mantle for our fireplace and had a contractor use these brackets for the install! He was impressed with the hardware and the ease to install in the masonry. And the brackets are great looking!

I still haven’t installed the brackets for a couple of reasons, one of which is they come with very strange expanding bolts that seem to be for concrete or brick, and no instructions on how these are used or if they can be used for installation in studs. This has been mentioned by others. If anyone knows anything about these bolts, or what sort of other screws to use, I’d appreciate you letting me know. Thanks.

These are very robust and easy to install! I did have to purchase different masonary steel sleeve anchors which was only an extra $8 at Lowes. The ones includes didn’t hold. Bought some better ones and we were good to go!
