No joke. So this hammock was one of our sheltered-at-home pandemic purchases. I had low expectations as most of my hammocks over the years have fizzled pretty quick. Wow. Wise Owl makes an exceptional hammock. Super comfy. Super strong. How strong? A few weeks ago, California was flooding in an atmospheric storm. Our property was hit hard. Wr lost four trees including a 82-foot pine this hammock was secured to on one end. On the other end was an oak about 25 feet tall and upslope a bit from the pine. On New Year¡¯s Eve, winds here hit 50 mph sustained and gusts over 75. The pine was mostly dead, but the hill just couldn¡¯t hold any more water and the entire 82-foot pine came down ¡ª totally uprooted out of the Earth. When I came out the next morning to inspect the damage, the hammock was still in rock solid shape if stretched out a bit. It didn¡¯t even fray. The seals were solid as ever. The carabiner stretched out as you can see in this photo, but it was still holding the weight of the tree that came down. The straps around the oak carved an inch deep into the tree with all that weight on the other end, but they held. No straps broke or frayed even the slightest. I had to use a knife to cut it off. Unbelievable how strong Wise Owl¡¯s straps and carabiners are, and how durable their hammocks. And yes ¡ª super comfy. They¡¯re worth 3 or 4 times their cost. I just bought another two.

This hammock has proved itself well worth the money! I have slept in it camping, and used it with 2 people countless times this past summer. I even allowed my dog in it once and the fabric still looks brand new! Extremely easy to set up and enjoy.

Bought this on a whim bc my friends have hammocks and so I wanted my own. The set up is so easy and could easily be done by oneself (though easier with two people). You can fit two people and it¡¯s comfortable. Definitely worth the money.

Everything’s great start to finish, great price, packs small, comfortable (it was a 5 man free for all fighting over whose turn it was). The stability was overall very good, I’ve used other, higher end, hammocks before and this one has you somewhat worried for a second but that’s just it kinda breaking in, I can attest it stood up to repeated use by a 260 lbs football player for 5 days of use and a couple hours of rain. Doesn’t have the longest straps in the world but is still fairly versatile , you may need to be a bit creative with how you sling it but the straps have good traction on a tree. No reasonable complaints considering the price.

I like that it is large. I am used to the single hammock, this does not disappoint. It seems to be well made and will last several camping trips. I am happy with my purchase.

this hammock like most is just plane simple and easy which is great when goin on longer hikes and need a break or even just lounging in the back yard. I keep this hammock in my truck for those times you just want to relax and watch a sunset by the water, takes little to no room up and light weight. I also carry one in my hiking back pack.

Bought a second one of these this spring for camping so we could have two on site. These are really great hammocks. They don’t feel super durable, but they are. We have the large sizes and they easily fit two people sitting or one completely wrapped up. Easy to hang and quality straps. Highly recommended for the outdoor enthusiasts!

I’m a 6.2 ft and I weigh 231 pounds, I thought it wouldn’t be able to use it but I was wrong. It’s a great hammock, really strong and durable. I took it everywhere (mountain, beach, etc) and it was a good experience. It also dries very fast (if you’re thinking in putting it into the dryer machine, it’s possible but is faster outside). Also the straps are easy to use and they are the strongest of them all, no complications at all.
