These hooks are a good size; not too small so that you’d be fumbling trying to hold it while you push the spring. Easy to slip a cord in but the springs are a tad tight to push and hold for smaller hands.

Great hooks and like the snap in especially for sun cover sails as if the wind blows too hard they won’t come out.Do not hammer them at all however, they will bend. Pre drill holes first if hard wood.
