Im not worried about the self closing aspect of these hinges but want them to dampen the closing speed when the window is open which on breezy days, causes the doors to slam - will these hinges do that?Paul White asked on November 28, 2024
Hi，This hinge is adjustable for closing speed, you check the link description of the product as well as the picture, it is mentioned how to adjust the closing speed.
Hi - is it a set of two hinges per door as doors have 3 hinges per door ? Also are these easy to retro fit ie : can you simply replace existing hinges with these? ThanksDean asked on May 16, 2024
Each product contains two hinges. If you require more than two hinges, You can purchase two or more product quantities. Please note that these hinges are integrated and non-detachable. If your door already has hinges installed, please ensure that the dimensions of our hinges match the dimensions of your existing hinges. You will need to remove the old hinges and install our new ones.
Can these be adjusted to perform a soft close so they don't slam, even when there is a through draught?I AHMED asked on May 14, 2024
This product can be adjusted to soft close and the closing speed can be adjusted. But when encountering strong external forces, there will still be a thud sound.
Hi so will these hinges arrest the speed that you can manually close the door? We can’t to prevent children slamming doors where other children can get their fingers caught as we have had a rather nasty accident recently and a child has linearly lost the top of their finger - thanksLindsay Bray asked on March 1, 2024
Hello, the hinges do not prevent the manual closing of the door.
