I just received the lock. It came with the instructions that is on this post. It was easy to follow. No complaints.

We bought this lock to use on a dog kennel so that people don’t come into the kennel and crawl through our doggy door. It’s not the best quality lock but for the price I would recommend it. It took an extra minute to figure out how to change the code on it but once you figure it out it’s like,”Duh, of course that’s how it works!”. Jury is still out on how the lock will handle CO winters being out in the elements.

Needed to secure some tools in a cabinet (with simple pull handles about 5″ apart) from tile contractors, this fit the bill perfectly.

This is a great lock, but it came without instructions!!! I needed a long shaft for three sets of cabinets with handles about 3″ apart. This was a great solution. I would have rated it 5 stars, but without instructions, it makes it hard to use so here they are for future buyers:Set all tumblers to the ‘Dot’ position in line with the raised markings on the case.Remove the U shape shaft.With the numbers facing towards you the right way up turn the right hand side Capped end a Quarter turn towards you, then pull it off completely.Remove all four number rings.Locate the red markings on the exposed body.Decide your new code and put the rings back on with your selected numbers on the Red marked lines with your code reading left to right.Put on the End cap.Turn the end cap a quarter turn away from you.Your new code is set and ready to use.Note the leg of the shaft with the most exposed metal goes in the coned part of the lock.

The custom combination number was easy to set. I am using the lock on the two handles of a rolling cabinet. It fits perfectly.
