It was pretty straightforward to get our fingerprints encoded in the lock, though the enclosed instructions could have been a bit better written (and had they been, I’d give it 5 starts for this). My only concern is that the lock is not as robust as say, a regular Master lock (it’s thinner and lighter). I’m concerned that a determined thief, with a minimal amount of effort, could defeat this lock simply by twisting it or using a small crowbar. Honestly, I expected something more robust when I bought it, so I guess the fault is mine for not checking further about its weight and strength. With all that said, it’s probably best suited for light, non-mission critical tasks, but I don’t think I’d recommend for situations where lock strength is vitally important.

Simple setup, reads well. If you have large digits you might want a larger biometric scanner.

This is so great! It¡¯s small but sturdy and is perfect for the gym. It took me a second to realize that until you properly register your finger print, anyone can use the lock. I thought I had it set up right, had my friend test it at the gym, and she was able to unlock it. I wrote a full review about not wasting your money. So glad I double checked the instructions because I missed a step. Read carefully! It¡¯s easy to set up for sure, just¡ don¡¯t be me and not read the last step.Totally worth the money!

This is a nice lock with lots of features for the price. Quickly recognizes your fingerprint and opens at any angle. Bluetooth app is easy to understand and operates perfectly. I would recommend this lock too anyone needing a small keyless lock with a access control app.

First, it’s pretty whimpy, but as my Dad always said “the function of a lock is to keep an honest person honest” … no matter how “beefy” it is, someone dedicated to getting thru it, WILL !! So, set that aside and you can appreciate it for someone with only 1 usable hand (stroke victim). So while it works just fine, I found that the app has a bug … when inputting new people into the fingerprint profile, you MUST capitalize their names or it will time out. The first name isn’t so picky, but the additional names must start with a capital letter.
