Used for my new rear gate door.

They were just what we needed for our fence gate.

These are solidly made hinges. Can’t wait to install them.

These are sturdy

This was my third purchase of the same hinge. I bought them again because they worked well before. I do wish that hinge companies would update their products to come with torx or square drive screws rather than phillips head. In large posts pilot holes are generally not necessary so it would be significantly easier to install with a more stable screw. It doesn’t say on the package but the screws that come with the hinges are 6 gauge or the metric equivalent. It would also be okay if the screws were a little longer. All in all a good sturdy hinge you will be happy you purchased. I just installed them so I don’t have a comment on the durability of the black matte finish. The other sets I have purchased have been galvanized and they are holding up nicely.

This hinge set is great. Really good quality. The screws could be better but are more than sufficient for the job. I used these to attach a really heavy 60-70# hinged top to an outdoor winter tortoise enclosure. I¡¯d buy them again if I needed heavy hinges for another project.

Well made

Painted and seem medium duty, not heavy duty. May rust, but time will tell. I subtracted a star because the screw hold bevel doesn’t match the screw head, so the screw head sticks out a bit from the flat surface of the hinge.
