Hinges work fine for the gates I made but the screws were something else! When the head popped of the third screw I went and bought real screws! Other then that I am happy with the hinges and how quickly they arrived

This was my third purchase of the same hinge. I bought them again because they worked well before. I do wish that hinge companies would update their products to come with torx or square drive screws rather than phillips head. In large posts pilot holes are generally not necessary so it would be significantly easier to install with a more stable screw. It doesn’t say on the package but the screws that come with the hinges are 6 gauge or the metric equivalent. It would also be okay if the screws were a little longer. All in all a good sturdy hinge you will be happy you purchased. I just installed them so I don’t have a comment on the durability of the black matte finish. The other sets I have purchased have been galvanized and they are holding up nicely.
