No instructions. The adhesive helps but wouldn’t stick to my cabinet very well. When installing drill the adjustable holes before the stationary holes in the front. Install with the adjustable holes only, test the distance to make sure it’s working properly. Then drill the front holes to hold it in place permanently. Also do not use the all metal catch, it doesn’t work as well as the plastic and metal ones.

These were perfect for my grandfather clock stash box. These days we need hidden places for our valuables and I’m lucky to have hardware like this to make my imagination more realistic. These function well and have enough push to open a small cabinet door, slim and efficient. Comes with double sided tape but I didn’t need to use it.

At first, I was planning on returning this, but Amazon insisted on refunding me and allowing me to keep the item. I did donate it to a friend who said they would use it and they have installed it (very easy to install) and it works as it is intended to be used. They have had no issues with it. It was installed on a closet door without a handle for easy opening by just pushing it and closing it by doing the same.
