The safety design prevents children from accidentally opening the lock and prevents ordinary theft. The left and right sides can be used interchangeably.
Note:
Measurements required to replace crescent lock:
1. If you do not want to re-open the holes, please confirm that the screw hole spacing is 46-50mm/1.8-1.9in
2. If you do not want to replace the hook, please confirm whether the hook extension length (23mm/0.9in) can be connected with the lock.
3. The distance from the central axis of the lock to the edge of the crescent is 20.5mm/0.8, and confirm whether the turntable can catch the hook.

As expected, good price, and looks nice. I needed to update old/broken locks and wanted to make sure all windows match. These are easy to install and lock in place. Not heavy duty if you want security ones but they do the trick.

Dimensions were accurate and the product seems pretty sturdy. Had to replace a broken window lock and couldn’t find one narrow enough for my windows anywhere, this did the trick!
