I used these to make a coping sled for my router table. Works great to hold the material in place and allows quick release for working a lot of pieces without a lot of fuss.

These clamps are high quality and very strong. The action of the clamp is reverse the action that I have seen on other hold down clamps. In order to lock the clamp, you push/pull the handle toward the rubber tip. That fit my needs exactly and I am glad this particular design is available. My advice would be to study the photos in the listing to make sure the clamping direction fits your particular needs. I am very pleased.

These toggle clamps were exactly what I needed for the modifications to my new Oklahoma Joe’s Highland Smoker. I added a high temp gasket to seal the door and these clamps shut it up TIGHT! No smoke loss. The rubber on the adjustable screw handles the heat without any problems melting. The clamps themselves are well constructed and easy to adjust.
