Used this to make a emergency brake on my Honda pioneer 1000. Works great

pretty good clamp, the rubber tip ended up splitting and falling off after a couple uses, but it should be fairly easy to replicate another foot out of an old rubber bottle stopper or similar.

These are not toys. They should last a lifetime.

Solid construction, a lot sturdier than I expected.

Some screws would have been nice.

The only reason this didn’t get 5 stars is because the product description doesn’t make it obvious that this is a SURFACE clamp. This is basically a surface clamp +- 1/4 inch. i.e without additional blocking, mounted on the same surface as the workpiece, the workpiece can be up to 1/4″ thick, or the pad can be adjusted to clamp at 1/4 inch below the clamp surface level. Yes, you can clamp a 2″ board, but only if you mount it on a 2″ block. Just like you can clamp 6 ft block, if you mount it on a 6 ft block. That aside, it suited my purpose just fine for making a jig to cut large panels of OSB. I thought I would need both clamps to hold the jig securely against 8′ panels, but just one suffices as it has great holding power.

The item was priced well and built well… I bought two of them and they are identicle when looking at them, but one of them seems to not want to stay clamped down to my wood… Maybe it’s me or maybe its the tool, but either way, i’ve been able to use the mess out of them…

I use these with a long melamine board to clamp and joint the edges of rough sawn lumber. I like how easy the rubber heads are to adjust for different board heights. For the thickest boards, I remove the lower nut and they work just fine. These get a lot of use and haven’t allowed a piece to slip yet.

Use them on a rip guide from my table saw the vertical lock handle gave tight tolerances to the fence Just what I was looking for built well excellent quality better than ones that I have had before from another manufacturer
