This will prevent a casual intruder, but anybody who wants to get in only needs to use a standard crowbar, and this thing will pry right off since even though the screws aren’t visible, they are not very sturdy and it would take about 60 seconds for somebody to pry the complete lock off with a crowbar. I installed two of them, figuring that it would give me two or three minutes, and with the motion detection siren going off I don’t think the usual break-in can afford a two minute delay when the average time on premise is 3 to 5 minutes. So it’s useful and does exactly what I expected, but anybody who wants to rip it off will be able to do so without too much difficulty.

I ordered this to use on a custom cover for a pet door. I built a frame around the pet door that already has a slide cover. Winter weather in our area can be harsh. The extra cover adds a little bit more installation. I can now lock both covers when we travel.It fits perfectly with a 180-degree installation. I use this lock inside so weather exposure is not an issue.Changing the combination is very easy.This is not a high security lock. It is more of a deterrent. For my use it is a great lock and I recommend it.

We have an outside area where our washer and dryer are. We needed an extra lock, just to keep it closed so nothing gets in. Easy to do, and works very well. The numbers could be larger though, as could the wheel

This lock brings everything for installation minus the tools. With the template it brings and the mounting screws, I was able to secure my side gate in less than 10 minutes. The instructions to change the combination were easy to follow as well.

This is a good looking cabinet or door lock. The design is good too. It removes the need for a seperate pad lock or any keys. It is for very light security. The finish appears to be of good quality. Changing the 3 digit code is easy. It is obvious that all written communications, in English, were not written by anyone with English as their first language. In fairness to the seller, this is also obvious in their ads. It did come with a very nice install template. All you really need, if you figured out how to change the lock code, which is only mentioned in the Amazon ad. It’s simple. But it does come with; no install or lock code changing instructions, 2 very confusing stickers (try to make sense of them yourself) and 2 tubes of what appears to be glue, for no known reason. See pics. Who needs glue to install a metal lock? Overall, a good product at a fair cost. But nonsensical instructions and adhesives.

This has a pretty decent appearance and quality feel for this price point. I’m not using it outside at all, so I can’t speak to that kind of durability. But I’m opening it 3-5 times weekly probably, and it seems to be working perfectly.

I like this Door Combination Lock. It is a measure of safety that helps me sleep better at night. It was very easy to install with the included template. I did not use the included tubes of glue or epoxy that came with it. I don’t know why they were included because it was not needed, and installation included no mention of it. Anyway, it works well and I am happy with this product.
