These metal brackets are heavy enough to do the job. I did notice that some were countersunk and some were not. Where these went was hidden so that did not bother me.The accompanying screws are just junk. I’d say they were garbage but that would be doing garbage a disservice. Perhaps if you are putting them in VERY SOFT pine or marshmallow you might be okay.Even pre-drilling and waxing the screws (time is money) results in twisted off heads. Into the scrap bin they went.

The finish on these is “really” nice. However, the cost of that pristine finish is that you have to individually remove a plastic film off of each bracket, which is a bit of a chore. So I would recommend these for use where the aesthetic is important. They are also very strong and can support some weight.
