Hi, are these suitable for use with soft close drawer runners (or normal runners if not)? We need something to keep campervan drawers closed.Amy Green asked on March 14, 2024

Made of rigid plastic. I do like the “crab claw like” mechanism. I installed closet doors directly to the un-eaven 2×4’s…clearly the doors did not close properly…at the end ofthe closing process, there Was some resistance.I installed these door catches, and they hold perfectly! If they hold up to daily use, then this is an EXCELLENT PRODUCT!

Created a closet under the stairs and built a small 1¡± thick door with a dummy door knob to match the existing doors knobs on the 1st level. Chose these push latch cabinet latches to keep the door closed. One latch was sufficient to do the job but installed the second latch after a couple weeks.

These catches work really well for concealed doors. They do require a gentle touch for opening and closing the doors, though, so may not be appropriate where they would be subjected to frequent use by kids who might tend to mash the door shut instead of just gently pushing it closed. The catches don’t break when this is done; they just won’t latch. They’re easy to install, adjustable once installed and work as they should.

Built a small frame for my wife’s water feature she was creating. She wanted to enclose the pump and other electronics out of sight. The door was going to blend in with the feature, so we needed a way to open it without attaching a handle. This latch was perfect.

Have not attached them yet but they seem to be able to do the job.
