The screw head where you put the screw driver in stripped. Possibly these should be hand screwed instead of screwed in with a drill because the screw head stripped so that I was unable to get the drill bit to work with the screw.

for project…worked fine

I use stainless anywhere that rust would be a problem, which is pretty much everywhere. These are very high quality at an unbeatable price.

A screw would need to be pretty bad to get a low rating. These are nice stainless with a big head and deep screwdriver recess. I like them.

What can I say, its a well made screw. The ‘Truss’ style has a lower profile than normal ‘Pan’ head screws. And the Truss head is wider than normal Pan heads.

Good but first bag only came with 94 screws. I did order a second bag as this failure wasn’t critical to me at the time.

These are great for mounting things in wood. Signs, hinges, brackets, whatever. They are good quality and weather proof.

#10 x 2″ sst screws used to attach safety grab bars into wall studs within the bathtub enclosure. Performed well when driven into the wall stud with an impact driver. However the screw, being a philips head did exhibit cam out (where the tip of the driver bit lifts up out of the screw head) as resistance was encountered. Pilot holes were predrilled and the screws threads lubricated with beeswax but still there was cam out. I suspect that the philips angle was not well matched to the driver tip. Having stated that, all 8 screws on two bars were fully driven in until tight. Ultimately my take is that for the price, these screws are a good purchase. Time will tell if their 304 stainless claim holds up after a couple of years of use. I will watch for rust streaking and if none appears, then I will consider the screw purchase to be an Excellent Buy.

Screws were used in conjunction with fender washers to attach wire mesh to the wood framing of an outdoor cat enclosure. These were wonderful, self-driving screws that won’t rust in the elements. So much easier and sturdier to use them instead of heavy-duty staples – wire mesh was attached in no time. Not a dud in the bunch – no stripped heads. So pleased with their quality and ease of use that I placed a second order for future projects.

Couldn’t find at local hardware store. Stainless steel is pretty soft metal so I made sure to use pilot hole and right size hand screw driver. Worked well and would buy again.
