I had never seen this kind of door catch before now. Two of the bathroom doors in my new-to-me townhouse would not stay open. I installed this catch on each one. I used screws on the wall side and the 3M on the door side. I am very pleased. The magnet seems just right — no need to tug to get the door to move.
